Paul was born and has spent most of his adult life in and around Ballycastle Co. Antrim. He has been heavily influenced by the both the local scenery around his home town and also further afield in the raised bog lands and mountains in Co. Donegal. Paul is heavily influenced by the traditional ways that people interacted with the landscape and its resources, and the sea and this reflected in many of the pieces he has produced.
